Headlights look awesome man

I would love to do this to my Evo too, and was hoping you could give me some info on doing it.

1. Did you have a guide to show you where all the screws, clips, etc are to take the front end off?

2. When you heated up the headlight to pry the housing away from the lense, what did you use for a heat gun? Was there any concern about melting the plastic itself?

Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I just got my Evo about 3 months ago and havent really had a chance to take it apart yet to know how it all goes together. Thanks!

i have a yellow car and i was goign to black out my headlights. i wanted a quick opinion though. would it look nice on a yellow evo? or would it look better if i color matched the housing with the lightning yellow? thanks

Anyone near DC do the black headlight mod?

I would love to get those black headlight housings done, but I don't know of anyone here in the DC-area with the know-how. I know there is a shop in FL doing it and a lot of guys in SoCal have done it, but none here. I love that look esp. after drooling on that Sparco Evo for the last few months... Anyone?

I don't think it's that hard... though i also wouldn't like to jump right into it because they cost so damn much...

i'm sure a lot of civic owners have done it around here and have the know-how...
