Carbon Fiber Wrapping Interior
Carbon Fiber Wrapping Interior
Saw a few post of people doing this so i got a small piece of 3M Di-Noc Carbon Fiber Vinyl to try this out and see if i liked it. Far cheaper alternative to the whole carbon fiber kits you can buy. I think this cost me about $4. Just figured i would post some pics, i will order some more so i can finish the rest of the interior then i will update with more pictures.
This piece didnt turn out to bad, the one corner is a little weird but the rest turned out good.

This is what it looks like installed. Not too shabby.

Here is some before and after shots after completing the rest of the top trim. Not sure if i am going to wrap any of the center console or not....looks like a PITA. This however wasnt that bad. Took about 2hrs total and my wife did most of it after i showed her how to heat it up and mold. Just take your time. All of the wrap for these 2 pieces cost me $22

I bought a small piece for $4 for the mirror/acd side to see if i liked it, then i actually bought the 12x48 sheet on ebay for $22 and the shipping took 3 days and i live in alaska. They have different colors as well but the white i think would have looked weird so i just stuck with traditional black. Type in (3m carbon fiber vinyl) in the ebay search box and its typically the 1st one. The picture is also of an Evo acd/mirror piece. Start on a small piece then work your way to something bigger, but watching a few videos i see people do there whole car in this same material.
