Go with a wing, or as above said some sort of lip on the trunk

I just bought a CF do luck trunk and I love the look. I think it looks so mean without the wing but always going to keep my stock trunk with the wing ..4 bolts if I change my mind lol

I've been wingless for awhile now and prefer it. However everyone is going to have their own opinion on it. I will say this though; I was doing some runs the other day in the 150mph+ range and the car was VERY loose in the rear. Much more choppy than if the wing were installed..

Great opinions in this thread... Im currently at this crossroad, my car is completely stock so as of now Im wearing the wing at least until I start modding or come across a JDM rear bumper with a diffuser & suspension, at that point Ill probably take it off...

As far as police attention goes, that 3" side cut exhaust growling down the street is more likely the reason you got pulled over than the "Oh look at that huge wing, he must be a racer.." theory...personally i see more dropped/lowered cars getting pulled over with NO EXHAUST and NO SPOILER of all makes an models... alot of the police who are in the highway district of the state are into cars.. as long as your not driving crazy, even if you get pulled over just be respectful & they usually just do a license check for suspension & send me on my way...

When I had wing for 4 months: 1 speeding ticket going 82mph. 1 honk from a cop going 78mph(next to all the other drivers). 1 Busted driver side mirror while parked on the street with all the other cars front/behind me.

When I went wingless for 4 months now: no issues.

I swear. Personal experience. I owned evo X and evo 8.

Conclusion: I DD my evo. I don't track. I dont plan on driving over 120mph on the streets/highway. I simply went wingless to become less of a target

I think both way looks great. But i just rather have less issues and focus on my work.

ur gonna get a speeding ticket with or without a wing... you did that to urself.
im in houston as well and i have a stock wing, cops behind and around me all the time but i dont drive like a jacka$$ so they dont bother. cops have better things to do. you speed u broke the law... they gonna pull you over DUH!!

its not like they radar you speeding but oh wait u dont have a wing so they let you go....

I love the wing! It's what made the Evo stand out to me years ago. But I do like the wingless look too. It comes down to personal preference

I word. Downforce. Added a vortex generator, noticed more linear feel and stabilty(highway speeds). More recently, put on a front lip and it sticks like a slot car. Not that have I anything against the wingless look or discreetness.
