What is funny was I considered this exact same thing with my car. We even share the same tail lights. Looks good!

Looks great! I'm dipping my car in the spring, just trying to decide on a color. 3 gallons was enough? I was going to get 4 to be safe.

I didn't use spray cans, I used a spray gun which they have. It will only run if you spray too close for long periods of time. It's a pre mixed paint that's pre thinned.

Well looks like you have a white car. If you were going with a light color two gallons would work.

If gray then 3 gallons work. The spray able dip covers very well. After 2 coats I almost had full coverage. I did buy 4 and sold my extra one

Thanks for the info. I actually have a black Evo, trying to decide between white or red. I think I'll buy the 4 and sell the spare like you.

Again, your car looks great. What color you going to do next?

Thanks I appreciate it. Originally I wanted to do white but my test fender was stained after a few hundred miles. That fender was done with a can. Seems to me that the spray gun gives a smoother finish overall which may not absorb dirt as easily.

I want to do white at some point but I'm happy with the color for now
