I did another this weekend.

 

Dipped New track car Blue. I think the next time I am going to try the red.

Been wanting to matte mine ever since ex girl keyed it. Dumb *****. Shouldn't have told her car always came first

 

I like plasti dip but the stuff really isn't that easy to peel off. If it was, I'd totally do my car with it.

 

 

It's actually super easy as long as you do 4 coats +

Its alot of work but the more coats the easier it comes off.

Oh these dipped cars look so cool on pictures, that I was thinkin to dip my red one in flat red with gold pearl too. But AFAIK it can be easily damaged with your fingernail at least in first several days.. you can leave a scratch easily or even tear it an start peeling off...

Is that Plasti Dip coating so reliable? How does it resist scratches etc after it has polymerized..? How long does it take to fully polymerize?

 

I know i'm going to get some backlash for this but I just had to try it out. People around here seem to love it though! After a couple days with it i've had at least 15 people come up to me and ask to take pictures of and or with it. Anyways enough talk here's my orange evo. (Oh and yes I know the firebelly is going to fade Im only keeping it on for the summer)

Damn... I actually like it!

I purchased my evo plastidipped white. It looked good but I prefer black cars.

I hope you laid it on thick, if not , youll be spending DAYS removing it like I did.

 

I might be the only one who isnt feeling it. I think on a track car it would be sweet but a daily driven evo... its too much.

Props on doing something a little different.
