I think you should do the hood aswell. Thats matte black right? Anything special you did in terms of prep/spray...and difficulties you encountered.

Lemme tell u about plasti dip. It's a great great product but don't ever do white on a dark color car. Because if for any reason that you need to peel the car that white plastic dip will be in every single crevice of your car I have literally spent the last three weeks with a toothbrush trying to get all the white plastic out of the cracks and crevices of my car, and every time I look at my car there's always a new place that I've missed it is a pain in the *** to get off entirely .
I also called the dipyourcar.com and ask them what they use to take the plasti dip off they said to use goof off with a qtip ,which I did used goof off and the over spray actually melted my headlight housing oops i had to buy a brand-new headlight housing just a FYI. Stuff is great tho, used it on my wheels and loved it, it lasted 6mths of use until I took the wheels off and it still showed no signs of peeling. I have a blue by you car btw and did the matte white which looked great.
I'm not sure if I got a bad paint gun from Dyc.com but it jammed up on my first coat and haven't worked since. I just finished the job with my regular gravity fed hvlp spray gun and a compressor. Just my experience taught I'd share.

Took a full day. The dip will jam the spray gun if you stop spraying for too long. prep work was easy. It layes down nice but it was hard to make sure I had enough coverage. Then puling dip off old ruber seals is a mess and time consuming.

Over all I like if for the car. I would never do this to a clean expensive car. The fight to get othe over spray off everything would go on longer then the dip will last.

What gun were you using? There are new models with different nozzles.

I can't decide what color I want to do mine. I got to get a new hood & trunk first then I'm taking it to have the dents pulled.
