Plasti dipped my Evo Flat black.. Easy to work with goes on easy with little practice comes off real easy...

Before being Dipped



Now Flat Black... soon to be something a little different

hey everyone, i was looking around the forum for a thread on this, and noticed there wasn't a dedicated thread

please post pics of your repainted/plasti dipped/ Satin (vinyl, any sort of flat color!) EVOS!

I guess my Evo can be in this thread. Im suprised there wasnt a flat/matte/satin evos thread until now. Anyways, here's my sexy SATIN white evo. its been Painted Satin white by myself, door jams and all. Lots of work but a great learning experience.

Prices range but I've seen them in the 1500 - 2500+ area.. I read about prices on another thread on EvoM.

I'm sure there may be cheaper and more expensive places to get it done...just what I've seen and heard.

Prices range pretty wide actually. I hit up a reputable place and they said $3500 and that was the motivation I needed to drop the $650 on a full 75ft roll and start the DIY effort. Takes alot of time and you learn as you go along. Depending on how **** you are about your car Id say weigh it out and consider DIY as a viable option. I dont regret it at all. Fraction of the price and my original paint was ****, so I kinda had nothing to lose. When I heard $3500 I laughed at the turbo kit that Id buy before I put $3500 into a vinyl wrap LOL.
