ok, black HAS clear coat, becuase when my car was painted, the all the old paint had to be taken off. and while it was being sanded the white residue of CLEARCOAT was comming off, then the paint itself which was a blue/purplish color was comming off. thats how i can attest to KNOWING the black has clear coat.

 

When applying a Polish like 3M handglaze, you should be applying it forward and backward - not in a circular motion. Makes a big difference in appearance. Also, the polish should be cancelling out the swirl marks.
