Rally Red - *EvE*

Bought this beauty a few months ago. Haven't touched the BMW since. Need to sell it for a turbo kit lol.
2003 evo 8
PRICE: 10,500
MILES: 105,000
Trim : ...? Idk no sunroof no leather, power windows locks, and HIDS.
Any ideas

Car came with all injen piping but stock lower pipe. Some sorta injen exhaust that's a little long for the jdm bumper.
Also a hotchkis rear sway. But the upper mount bolts where broke.
Tires where gone.
Recently found that my car also has a 2005 10.5 hot side turbo.. Thinking someone just replaced it with a used 8 turbo an it happens to be from 05 It's got no play so I guess it's a good thing.
Koyo rad. Car look pretty stock as far as I don't think it had any major mods at any point. The stock manifold bolts have been on quite awhile and almost no clips bolts or hoses where missing.

The paint was haggard pinkish. Which buffed right out.

She looking pretty good.. I've added

rally armor flaps
Megan o2 ( garbage same size as stock)
Spoolin up cop ( installing tomorrow)
Aem wb02 aem boost guage
All Black DIY seats, headlights and red tails
Buschur dp
Walburo 25o not installed
Hallman mbc set at 18

Not set on wheels yet but I'm saving up for some ccw classics or for when xxr knocks me off proper. .

Car was supposed to be tuned tomorrow by fftec. But due to my cams not being available and their shop forgetting to call me to tell me that before I booked my hotels and arranged the 6.5 hour trip. That's not gonna happen. Good thing I called this am to confirm my appt. anyways not bashing them I know there busy but I'm bummed I'm not tuned right now..

Hoods not closed but I really liked they way they turned out

I absolutely love this car and would like to thank aeveryone on this forum for thr resources they have made available. It makes almost any problem or decision a breeze. More pics coming soon.

Changed the tails to make them legal

No wing. YUCK!

Old crx. I know the body work sucks. I did it myself by hand in my yard when I was 16

Had a few cars since but grenading weak honda ringlands got tiresome so I bought a e46 and just cruised for a few years. Then I started seeing STI's everywhere and started researching the awd turbo. I finally decided I didn't want the same car I see 10 of everyday. I wanted something special. The evo has captured my heart and the boost bug has struck again.

Turbo Zdyne d16 on 14 lbs with a Tdo45h. Always loved the mitsubishi turbo. And apparently I had a thing for 9 rears. Even before they came out.

Whoops. Had to split the stock 02 housing with a Drmxel to stop uncontrolled boost spikes. My home made dp didn't flow the best I guess idk wtf was going on. But 18psi on a stock z6 was interesting.

That's an extremely clean evo for having that many miles. Nice find.

Thanks, it's been a really awesome car and the handling is unbelievable. I forgot to add that I put on the whiteline RCK and found the car felt quite "loose". I flipped the camber bolts on the front to add an extra 1 of camber and she is now on rails. Here are some shots of the day I picked it up.

After first cut and wax

As u can see most all the pink came out. But it keeps rearing its ugly self on hard to buff spots. Is this the paint just going bad? I've heard mitsubishi just used ****ty paint.

Nice ride. The before and after looks good. You should carfax the vehicle to see the trim.

Im pretty sure this is just and Evolution 8. In 2003 Mitsubishi didn't have any separate trim models. Just called an Evo. Correct me if i'm wrong? Nice car though, you have really brought the paint back to life thats for sure! Good Job!

If you don't have power door or window then its a RS. Car looks great though.

Mitsu used very cheap paint.

Red is usually the first of all the colors to start to fade.
