Gear boot to the bottom of gear knob?

Gear boot to the bottom of gear knob?
Hello, I installed my gear knob (Ralliart) & it the gear boot doesn't sit underneath it... Seems like there is about 1-3cm of space, what can I use to get it to sit & touch the bottom of gear knob?
