I can deal with "trends" changing for the better. More power, safer cars, more fun, promiscuous sex free of condoms etc.

What I can't deal with are people that do stupid things. This, the entire stance trend, skinny jeans, flat brimmed hats, hipsters, men with a beard because they think being dirty is cool (i have a beard, but it's legitimately there because I'm lazy as hell).

The fact that you didn't cut the frame rail is great news. That said, you would have done it if you couldn't get as low as you wanted. I'm glad you didn't, it makes me happy. Although I will guess there is a good chance that you will do something stupid in the near future.

Have you ever picked up a really skanky girl from the bar, but she's super hot. Like, I want to bend her over right now hot. Then you get her home and realize she has herpes, but it's not flaring up. You decide to go through with it, but you're so drunk you can't get it up. It's great that you ended up not doing it - but you were full on ready to - so chances are in the future you'll do it, and then you're going to get herpes.

So the long moral here is - you don't currently have Evo Herpes, but you will soon enough. And then your dick is going to fall off.
Hahah I found this hilarious. This is as far as I'm taking it. In all honestly, I'll probably end up raising the car back up in a few months. I do want to enjoy the handling and power these cars have, but right now I'm in the stance phase. I'll grow out of it just like everything else and soon I'll probably be more power minded.

I've seen kbuss on here for a while. He doesn't seem like the flat brim, skinny jean type.

Stance is his thing. I don't think he's going as extreme as some other forum members have (like waynebuilt).

@kbuss. Whats bf.c?
Smurf seems to get things. I'm not a skinny jean wearing hipster, hell, I only own one pair of jeans and I never wear hats. Bf.c is a BMW forum. All the BMW purists get super butthurt when people slam their cars, it's just as bad or even worse than it is here lol.

It's cool man. It doesn't bother me all that much, if I couldn't handle it I would never have made this thread.

Yeah he did. And the expected comments have happened. But the personal attacks are (while funny) unnecessary.

He's been on these forums for a while. He's heard all the reason why not to. We are not goign to change his mind. You guys are loosing your $#!t over something thats happening regardless.

All you can do at this point is, not post, post encouraging him or criticizing the $#!t out of him like we always do to something that is not helping the car perform better.

Well I'm glad you can see the humour in it all! Was somewhat concerned I was going to get slapped with an infraction for that post...

I get grumpy - but more so with the dangerous frame rail **** than the sheer act of slamming a car. Depending on the car, I do actually like the look of a car that is dropped aggressively.

I went through the same BS you are right now - on a VW forum a few years ago when I proposed slamming my Touareg on 22's... Needless to say, peeps were not happy with me.

I much prefer to see the Evo treated as a performance platform, not a palette for sparks and speed bump butt sex though. When I envision a car that is slammed I always think VW's, 80's BMW's and of course the blood of the latino heat - old Chevrolet product...

But then again - I currently have some people shaking their head at me because I'm going through a $30k build on my 08 MR to make it into one of the most retarded Evo X MR's on the road. Everyone keeps telling me I should just buy a porsche or a GTR - but then I'd miss out on our little brotherhood and cry myself to sleep every night.

And I might get herpes.

I could've bought a GTR cash with the money I've spent between my first evo and this one.

I'm crying inside.

LMFAO. This x100. I had to look up myself and see that was on EvoM and not vortex.

I am new to this evo game as well. I left the Audi scene because of how much money I spent trying to make it fast, yet, could not get it to where I wanted it. I def can appreciate the OG's points and in the same sentence, can appreciate the OP for doing his own thing. I def wish ppl were a little more polite about disagreeing with an idea. It goes a long way sometimes.

Its the internet. Ever play call of duty with strangers. People act "different" when they are online then if they were in person.

I know how you feel... My current tally on my motor and tranny build is just over $31,000. I love it, don't regret it - but damn is it ever getting out of hand.
