Stupid Low

I have recently acquired the first set of Broadway Static coils for the CT9A chassis. BWS weren't kidding when they said their coils go really really low. I still have about 1.5" of thread to go down but my front frame rail is resting on my tire. So, naturally......instead of raising it up, I've decided to notch the frame rail. I haven't seen any other Evo notch the frame rail like I'm about to do, so I'm super excited to get cutting. The end result should make me the lowest Evo out there, even those bagged Evo's will be higher .

I'll keep this updated with pics of how everything turns out.

(This is my car, don't tell me I'm ruining an Evo)

Oh you are cutting the fender brace area. Definitely haven't seen this before. How you will modify your fenders to fit the wheel after the brace is notched?

Are the Broadway's currently available? Or are they still in the production stages?

Did you relocate the harness and abs wires? The drivers' side has the bigger harness running down the side frame rail (whatever it's called). Some don't share their low low secrets when I asked so I had to figure stuff out as I went. LOL. I just hammered mine to get more clearance and moved my harness higher.

Thank you for sharing.

It wont effect any area where the fender bolts on. Modifying the fender is not needed.

They don't have any built at the moment because the demand isn't as high as e36/e46 etc. But if you contact them it should take no more than 4-6 weeks to have them built to your specs.

Because this is what I want to do.

Once the brace has been cut I will relocate all the wires above it before I weld in the new plate. Whoever isn't sharing their secrets is just being an *******, we're all here to learn.

Again and again keep up the good work. Hopefully the car will just destroy itself this time

Broadway static is made by fortune auto. I believe broadway static is just the branch of fortune auto for the European cars

Agreed, hopefully the car will fall apart driving down the road and put itself out of its own misery.
