Negative. Not far enough.
It was stated earlier that opinion is sometimes misconstrued as hate. I agree with that. But I honestly HATE this. I am a hater. This is completely absurd. There is a reason this has never been done before. In the same way no one has ever staple-gunned their lower lip to their forehead.

PLEASE !!! notch up the fender BRACE area and post a pic... We all need a good laugh. Like you said it's YOUR car and you should be proud of it so post a pic when your done.

When you do sell it I hope you tell the new potential owner all the "modifications" you did to it so he can cut you a small small check OR most likely you will hide all your so called modifications because you regret them.

Plan Ahead will save you $ down the road

nice....subd for results.

kbus why dont you go with bags? there are a few good options out there that still handle really well.

that way you can slam it when parked and lift it when cruising around town.

I've been thinking about doing a high compression NA 4g64 build to swap in my evo. I think that would be really cool

You guys must think I'm taking inches out of this thing. I'm literally removing .5" of metal. I don't plan on selling the car. If I do every sell it, I'm not changing enough of the structure to cause any problems. So to say that the car will be worth very little after this is ubsurd. As long as its done right there shouldn't be an issue if I ever sold it. You guys act like the integrity of the car is compromised.

Transfer case/rear diff delete too? N/A FWD is where it's at.

Do you listen to dubstep, wear fitted hats, collect sneakers, and eat at chipotle?

There's certainly a select demographic for this type of preference.

But I understand. Gotta keep it "fresh".

OHHHH!!! Well why didn't you just say so? I feel much better about this, forget my original comments. This all makes complete sense now.
I cannot wait to see your interpretation of "doing this right." I'm not sure if hilarity will ensue, or if I'll become nauseated.

Not to pile on you because I did like your car before you stated your plans but I do find (extremely funny) irony in this statement.

I think a better way to describe the demographic that enjoy stance and slammed cars over performance cars would be simply by age. The majority of the people in the stance scene are young. You don't see many middle aged guys rolling around scraping frame on a daily basis. Now this isn't to say that all young people are into stance and don't care for performance, it just seems as though a good chunk of the younger crowd appreciate the stance scene. This might be because that's what they grew up on. That is and has been the fad since I got into modding three years ago. I love the way a slammed car looks and I have no problems with it. Now if I'd been around for a little longer then it would probably be a completely different story. I'm just saying, I think that every time stance gets debated, a generation gap actually shows itself.
