why dont you run a tube frame front end like the drift guys/road race guys. the tube will be thinner and lighter ultimately giving you tons more space in that area. it would be expensive but the correct way of doing it. OR maybe you can weld and brace the inside or under side somehow to compensate for the cutting you are about to do

You also modified your car to work in a way that it wasn't designed to do.

By your own logic any Evo not being rallied is 'ruined'.
I'm fairly certain you can understand the difference here. I road race my car, but can appreciate the drag racer guys. They're interested in modifying a fast car to go fast. Might be a different type of fast, but fast nonetheless. Lowering your car, to be part of a "lifestyle" is hardly the same thing.

I remember reading this thread yesterday and I was like "Man this thread will blow up." One day later and it's 6 pages deep.

All I can say is that I really hope your car is safe after you're done and that you achieve the lowness that you want. I like now stanced cars look and I i've always liked your car.

I'm keenly watching to see how this turns out.

Please proceed in posting pics and properly documenting your methods.

This was rather entertaining to read all these pages Kyle I love your car, if you don't already know that.
I can't wait to see your car all done and in person at H2oi this year!

ppl can do whatever they want with their car. If he's posting on stancenation or something he'll get all the support in the world.

This forum however seems to support the pursuit of power and refinement for a platform that is extremely capable. Notching frame rails and quite honestly doing nothing to increase the performance of this platform will get people (myself included) fired up.

It's like posting up something about how awesome your dick is on a feminist's forum. You may have an awesome dick, but that doesn't mean you aren't going to start a ****storm.

Jesus. I read this thread yesterday and it had 4 posts. 24hrs later its going on 7 pages, well done guys.

I normally would get all riled up and crush the OP for the abomination of a car, but this time Its not even worth it. All the OG guys here have taken care of that for me.

The only thing I will comment on is this: I dont get the whole lifestyle thing. If flat brims tucked in skinny jeans and big glasses with no lenses is a lifestyle (around me they call that being a tool) then sure, rock on.

Agreed that if you look at it, 90% of the people liking it are under 100 posts. A generational thing would make sense, because my generation (under 30) and the next generation are full of lazy self entitled tards. but i digress....

normally i would say "sure, i dont like it but its his car and he can mod it as he sees fit" which is still true. But I am sick of hearing the term "hater" thrown around. its just like the world, politics, cars w/e. everyone b!tches about freedom of speech/act and I can say/do w/e I want. but then as soon as someone doesnt agree or says something contrary, they get all pissed (and that goes BOTH ways).

just as you have the freedom to mod, comment, ask, post about your car, people have the right to tell you its terrible. Just like you have the right to tell us that modding for power and fat RUBBER is a waste of money. freedom of speech and opinion.

anyway, im getting off my soap box and grabbing popcorn with smurf. ill catch yall later.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEN Brotha!

PS - I'm a low post count as I am a forum ***** on the "other forum", but I do fall into your generation, and I have made it a life long goal from this day forward to do a few things in my day to day.

1 - poke anyone wearing glasses without lenses directly in the eye with a screwdriver and then point out they are stupid.
2 - light all skinny jeans on fire
3 - put a crease in ever flat brimmed hat I can find
4 - poop in the fuel tank of any stanced car I find

Rik84: Now that post made me freaking laugh. Screwdriver in the eye? Well played sir, well played indeed.

I am the same way. Used to post here a lot, not so much anymore. and a huge lurker on bimmer/audi forums.

No worries, post count doesnt reflect intelligence, its just the generally accepted mathematical equation is Low Post Count + Younger Generation - $ from dropping Evo Prices = (insert deragatory term that will get me banned from EvoM).

Feel free to sprinkle in any other new "fashion lifestyle trend".

I think someone beat me to it, but all i could think about during this thread is:

Boy, that escalated quickly....I mean, that really got out of hand fast.
It jumped up a notch
It did, didnt it>
Yea, I stabbed a man in the heart.
I saw that, Brick killed a guy, did you throw a Trident?
