No where did I say that, I stated for the people who say he is not using the car for its intended purpose have used a screwdriver wrong also. This can be a generic statement for those who say well drag racing is not what the evo was meant for, going low is not what the evo was meant for, ect.

Going low isn't the main thing we're criticizing (At least me), its the lengths he's going to. Irreversibly modifying the cars structure to achieve something that is detrimental to the cars suspension geometry is hardly the same thing.

Alright. So I never had to touch the frame rail. I only cut out portion of the fender brace which is just spot welded to the frame rail (not really a structural portion to the vehicle) therefore if I ever did sell the car I could buy a replacement fender brace and re-weld it in. So lets try not to get too upset now

We used a plasma cutter to cut out the portion that I needed to remove and then welded it back to the bottom. The gussets inside are still in place.

I'm probably going to rock this height for the rest of this season and then replace everything and switch over to a more moderate drop with more power in mind. After driving around town like this earlier, I can tell it will get old real fast hahaha

Serious question:

Does your newfound lowness bring the boys to the yard?
And you tell them, "damn right, it's lower than yours"

that brace is still for structural support enjoy your exhaust manifold sitting on your lap when you have a front end collision.

Well obviously it's there for some support, but it's not as important as the actual frame rail. As far as front end collisions go, I guess if that ever happens it's my own damn fault soooo your attempt to **** me has off failed.

If I cared about what everyone thought about me or my car, life would be pretty terrible. You can't please everyone.

If you have access to a plasma cutter I would assume you have access to a welder. Why not fab up your own fender braces?

I guess being low and cruising you dont really need a proper/safe brace. Safety isnt something I would over look even on a car I drive once a month
