Nice work. Do they lower your car a lot?

Yeah, they lower the car a lot. BC are known to allow really low ride heights and are widely used by a lot of the stance guys. Quality are not close to an Ohlins or an MCA, but for guys like me who will never track the car they are more than sufficient.

So what are people's thoughts on white wall tyre lettering? Past experiences? Should I be cursed for even thinking of doing it?

I thought it might make a nice touch on my CCW that I will only ever use for shows...

I don't mind the look of the Speedhunters ones on the right style car with flush tyres. I believe you need to re-balance your wheels too. So either Speedhunters or your tyre brand will look good even if a bit ricey. Caution tho... some ppl will hate.

I think the tire stickers are way too much flash for the street. First thing when you are driving, or pull into a lot, the first thing they are going to see are those tire stickers! They were originally for race cars as advertisement for their tire sponsors, so they were big. But for the street, I think way too much. I bought a $6.99(US) tire pen/marker, and I just did the tire manufacturer name, Bridgestone. You can see it, but it's not in your face. It's about an inch tall. My car is grey, so I did mine in silver for some contrast.

Yeah, the tyre lettering would not be for street. My CCW will be for meets & shows only. Decisions decisions...

I personally love it, but only when the car has a more race built style such as...

IMO another way of getting attention.

Takes the elegance out of the street car.

So it has been a while for me and updating this thread. I kind of thought i would have a break from updates as things were moving pretty slowly for a while. One thing i will say is that I love this car... It was my daily for a couple months and it is such a blast to drive. I bought the car with a cheap hks sequential bov, and was very happy to put a MR bov back in. Also had a major service done just to be on the safe side, Here she is the day i dropped her off:

Man I am glad I did:

Talk about dodging a bullet!

I also replaced the front wheel studs with extended ARP, very happy with the result:

Anyway, much more to come, thought i would start slow with the updates as a lot has happened. Happy weekend!

More updates to come as things have moved nicely with the evo over the past couple months. As i said earlier in this thread my plan after having my CCW restored was to have them coated so as to make it easier to keen them clean. After putting on new rubber i took them to a local business Eye Candy Detailing to have them Ceramic Coat them for me. Very happy with the result:

Ordered a set of oil slick decals for the barrels from CCW. Happy is an understatement with these rims...

Have also recently replaced the CF front lip as well as the Mitsubishi emblem on the front bar with a CF one instead. Stoked with the outcome:

Had a close friend of mine who owns a crash repair/garage to have them installed for me. My front bar is looking mint, exactly as I like it haha. As you can see below it was time for a freshen up:

The Ralliart bug has definitely bitten as well. So far I have started the collection with a nice 5 speed gear surround:

As well as a mint condition set of guages,,,

I picked up another luckily today, so my hope is that it arrives before the end of the week. I will update the thread when it does...

Can't wait to see what else you got. I like to collect these rare Ralliart parts too. If there is something you desperately need maybe we can do some trading

Haha thanks man. I have a very long road ahead of me to start catching up to you tho. It's only a Ralliart Hood Vent, so nothing too exciting. Looks to be in pretty good condition, & I will post up pics once it arrives.

Recieved my Raliart Hood Vent, so happy with it to be honest. Here are some shots of where the car was at before the hood vent was changed over. The previous owner had sprayed the vent black, and it was pretty grubby:

So, very happy to be replacing it with the new Ralliart piece:

Such a cleaner look on the car too:
