How to deactivate ABS

Hi everybody!

I want to deactivate ABS in Evo 8. The problem is that there are EBD and in my Evo (European one) there is SAYC - all methods I know are not good because the back brakes are not working well after this.

Not working well. EBD is giving too much power to rear brakes when you switch the fuses off.

Niestety - jak napisałem ta metoda nie działa ;P

You would probably have to splice the wires from the abs going to the fuse box with an on off switch. I think I read that before on sport compact mag with a subaru.

Fuse method is not working. As I noticed before - this swiches ABS but EBD goes bananas too

The way I used to do it on my older VW is to disconnect one of the wheel ABS pickup sensors. They have connectors so that they can be replaced. The car should think there is a problem with a sensor and go into fully working non-ABS mode. The ABS light in the instrument cluster would obviously be on to tell you that you have an ABS problem.

Sprobuj to i daj znac. Po co to robisz - ABS w EVO dziala bardzo dobrze.

A need ALL sensors working for S-AYC so this method is not good too.

Chcę wylaczyc ABS bo na beznadziejnych polskich drogach zwyczajnie czesto wariuje.
