I just got the Yokohama AVS ES 100's for my evo. They are not near as good as the stock advan's, but they are better in the rain and they get better if you warm them up a little.

I believe that PS2 = Pilot Sport 2. The Second generation of Michelin's Pilot Sport Tire.

i like the grip and handling of the yokomama's stockers, but the road noise is unbearable and gets really stiff when cold...

anyone know where i can get the stockers for the lowest possible price? i know i can get them for about 210 a piece, but anywhere lower than that???

The ps2s are great traction wise but have softer side walls so turn in isn't as crisp. If handlng is your objective and you can afford them, the stock tires are still the best.
