Only Replacing 2 tires on the Evo?

On my summer tire setup I broke a belt so I went ahead and ordered 2 new tires. They are Kumo Exta MX's. They all have about 15-20% wear but I really did not want to get rid of them all, you know? So I am just gona replace 2 and put them in back.

Any problems with this?

If you have MX's on all four corners thats fine. If your mixing with the OEM Yoko its not the best match.

If the tires are the same size - no. YOu can always throw them on the back and deflate them 1 psi to match the front Yokos'.

Yup all exactly the same tires, 2 will be about 20% worn while the others will be BRAND NEW. I am not using Yoko's, These are for my Summer wheels, which are Private 18's. I got a flat and then Broke a belt. . SO I am replaceing only 2 tires as the other 3 are fine but you need laft and right tires.

This is a GREAT tire BTW, Only $135 EACH from the Tire Rack for an Ultra High Performance Tire.

Kumho ECSTA MX Tires for only $135

Please, for 18's? Show me, these handle about 1 step below the Advans but last TWICe as long, they wear no where NEAR as fast and offer superior performance and are not too noisey.

Show me in 18.......

None of those are Better except MAYBE the Nitto. the Toyo is an older design. Those Falkins don't hold a candle

I have the Nitto NT 555's mounted on the stock Enkeis'. 33psi in the front and 30psi in the rear. My buddy with a 05' GSR on the stock Advan's can't shake me in the corners. And better yet my tire is "Z" rated, rather than "W" (so, quieter on the hwy). The Nitto is a great tire (for the money).

I have a hook up posssible on Toyo RA-1's. I will go with those as my next choice for a "stricktly summer" tire. I'll save the Nitto's for winter/fall...

PS. nothing wrong with that Falken. It's "sticky" if properly inflated.
