Rear Trailing Arm Question - Need HELP.
Im going to perform this install as soon as my parts arrive from GTWorks. Anyone want to give me one last piece of advice? I've read most of the threads on here about it, so I think I can do it!

And, Enegry bushings are 1 piece - not 2.

I highly recommend you get a ball joint puller like the one Works listed at the beginning of this thread.
I didn't have access to a press, so I used a sawzall to cut the rubber part of the OEM bushing out. Then, I used a hack saw to cut the bushings' metal sleave out. After that was done with, I used a vice to press in the aftermarket bushings. Just be sure to grease the bushing up everywhere before you reinstall the trailing arm.

Cool... I bought one of those pullers that Jamie posted at the beginning of this thread. Its off of Ebay, but the picture looks EXACTLY like his.
I'll probably use the other methods you describe as I dont have a press.
Thanks.

Sounds good, Just put the puller on and tighten it down (TIGHT). Then hit the knuckle with a metal hammer a few times. If it doesn't pop loose, tighten the puller down more and hit it some more. It will eventually pop loose.
I know this is a dumb question. but is the rear trailing arm the same thing as the lower control arm??? Just wanting to know what exactly the rear trailing arm is. I'm thinking of buying some buschings for it but I need to know what it is before I do. I've heard people talk good about the whiteline products for bushing.
ok cool, thanks. I was thinking it was on the front for some reason. I was looking at service manual pictures of the front suspension trying to figure out what ya'll were talking about lol
