What tire size do you Recommend for a 19x8.5

What tire size do you Recommend for a 19x8.5 and my car is lowered about 1.5 - 2 inches?

Would the RA1 be a good dual purpose autocross tire or will they not light off quick enough?

I have a bit of a facination with the Nitto NT-01s. I drive a modded Evo 3 in Australia. It has around 370 hp. I am looking for r spec tires for the track only. The only street driving would be to and from the track. The NT-01 seem quite cheap for a R spec tire. I would obviously need to get them shipped to Australia, as the're not available here, so probably need to add 40 bux or so per tire.
R spec tires are around $350USD down under. That is why I am interested in the Nittos. I would love to see a trackday lap time comparison between the tires.

18x8.5 SSR GT7 Advan S.4 255/35

Well I have a set of 18x8.5 SSR GT7 Advan S.4 255/35 on my Evo and the look is great Grey silver Lip... and Silver Evo. My issue is in MI. the roads for the motorcity of the world are CRAP. and 18's are not a good idea here... I should have known better but the look was so nice. I think I have sold the Rims and Tires(NEW) so I'm going back to 17's...

My issue I like the full look of the 255's on the car... I have the OEM rims for the track now so these are the Look Nice street tires... no racing no dragging i just drive... save everything for the track days.

i'm looking for 17x?? not sure to go 8 or 8.5 and then deciding on 245/40 or 255/35?40

any advice is appreciated. also any one that has 17's in stock... tires i will get from Tirerack or where ever.... Advan S 4's have been great so sticking with them.

thanks everyone.

I just got some RPF1s in 17x8.5 30+ offset...I'm it's too late but are there downsides to running 30+ offset? Will it negatively affect the rotational mass versus +38 offset for stock? BTW, I'm running Azenis 615s in 255/40/17.

Thanks.
