Possible brake problem..take a look
Ok, not your typical brake problem I have here. First off, when I'm driving, I hear this strange rubbing sound, almost as if your lug nuts weren't fully tightened and the tire was rubbing on the inner fender well (lugs are tight, I checked). This sound happens at all times no matter if I'm accelerating, decelerating or just coasting. Now the weird part is that when i apply pressure to the brakes..the sound goes away.
The next problem I have is that if i'm driving and I take the car out of gear and put it in neutral, then go to apply the brakes, I have to push the pedal down almost half way before the car even begins to stop. Once I press the brake pedal once and let off of it then press it again, the pedal comes back to where it normally engages the brakes, almost as if I'm losing pressure somewhere in the lines. I'm at a loss and i'm not even sure where to begin to diagnose this problem. I did search and all that came up for brakes is the squeeling problems or grinding problems, neither of which are my case. Any help or input would be greatly appriciated.

If it takes a pump to get pedal pressure then you have air in the lines/boiled fluid - something of that nature i.e the system is sealed but something is in the system besides incompressible brake fluid (air for one example)
If you have a hard but sinking pedal than you have a leak.
Have you looked at your pads/rotors for signs of a dragging pad - that could generate a LOT of heat and deteriorate the fluid.

I took a look at the rotors and didn't really see any signs of extreme wear, I haven't gotten a chance to actually take a look at the pads though. This just started happening after all of my mods in my signature were installed, I know the clutch and brake fluid share the same resevoir but are divided by a wall. Maybe air could have gotten into the lines when I was adding fluid and bleeding my clutch somehow?

Certainly air or something is in there - the question is how did it get in there adn is that the only problem.

my thoughts exactly, unless maybe one of my front brake lines got pinched of something and maybe there is a tear in one of them from when we installed the clutch and everything but I don't see brake fluid anywhere. I'm going to try to go out today and take a look around n see what I can find.
anyone else have suggestions? I was thinking about taking it to the dealer to have them look at it but they'll probably just laugh in my face once they see all the mods done to the car lol
Have checked your brake line to see if it is rubbing. When brake is applied, the line will be stretched a liitle by a pressure. So, it's possible that brake line is not secured by your struts. Other than that I would bleed the brake line again to let air out....

The only way I can think that air got into the lines is when we were bleeding the clutch someone might have stepped on the brake and not though anything of it. I don't know much about the evo braking system other then that the clutch and brake fluid share the same resevior. Could air have gotten into the lines if the brake pedal had been pressed while in the process of bleeding the clutch? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

if you're making over 500 horses, and you can't bleed your own brakes, thats sad. (not saying you can't, but you get the idea.
)i'd open the reservoir, put the car on stands, and pull the pads, and simply check them. that might answer your question right there, then a good fluid flush is in order.
