Racing Brake Wheel Studs

Quick question for RB wheel studs owners, maybe you guys can save me a call to RB

Are the RB extended wheel studs ones you press in, like the Kyo-Ei studs?

Any information would be appreciated. Also, if anyone knows any extended studs that can be hammered out, I would appreciate it.

I believe any wheel stud for this car will be press in. Without the press fit, surface area contact will drop between the stud and hub increasing the likelyhood of stripping the hub/stub then you're SOL. FYI, hub/wheel bearing assy's are around $150-$200 from Mitsu.

i was able to buy the open ended lexus lug nuts and i put a 16mm? deep reach socket over the unpressed stud that had been inserted into the stude hole, and i took an impact wrench and scrwed the open ended lug over the socket and that pressed all of them in, i did this with my arp extended. So basically, insert the stud into the hole and make sure the stude is snug with the hole and the kurled area, then place a 16mm deep reach socket over the stud and thread on a lexus oepne ended m12x1.5 lug nut over the socket and impact it on. BTW, it doesn't take that much force i was using my electric impact gun which only puts out 100ft/lb max

That's a good way to stretch the studs and make them weaker.

With the hub assy removed from the car and studs pressed in/out without loading the hub bearings. Royal PITA unless the whole car is apart.
