265/35/18 on +35??
265/35/18 on +35??
i have been searching and it seems like its hit and miss with rubbing with a 265 tire.
i am goin to be putting on a 18x9 +35 and the tire i want is a 265 35 and i really dont want to mess around with rolling the fenders. my car is lowered on coilovers.
or do you think i should just run the 255 40 or 255 35?

You will probably have issues, i am on stock suspension with a 18x9 265/35/18 but it's a +32 offset but if i was on coilovers i'd have problems, i even get some rubbing under hard cornering in the rear.

You may not on a 255/35 (not more than a 3 or 5mm though),but definitely on a 265/35. The benefit to that though is it'll bring the wheel closer to the edge of the fender and fill it out.
I am running 265/35 Goodyear Eagle F1 DS-G3 tires on TDR 18x9 +35 rims. Had to get 5mm spacers for the front and rolled the rear fenders. Would have probably been wiser to get +30 offset for the front and +35 for the rear.
It will be a very close fit and a lot will depend on which tire you go with, since the actual tire width varies from manufacturer to manufacturer...

i really just dont wanna mess with rolling the fender so i might just buy the kuhmo mx in 245-40-18. seems like a great summer tire
Who said anything about rolling the fender? All you need are spacers to make it work, at most. If you want to be conservative just run the 255/35. Up to you in the end though.
