The rotor should take air from the inside of the hub (rotor) and pump it out through the veins during use. Think of which way the wheel is spinning, and which way the air moves out of the veins.

That tells you which way they need to go, however, the slotting looks right.

wait you're saying i didnt need to do that? god damnit!

jp lol.... i did suspension and brakes at the same time... nailed the brakes then i moved to springs..

My slotted rotors had Front Right and Front left on them... so the dilemma was...
does front left mean driver's left side when in driving position or when facing the vehicle head on...

my mechanic friend said it's the driver's position... so we installed it that way. The slots on mine face the opposite of the original poster's rotors.

yeah, the battery is next to the front left wheel. it's drivers, or path of motion position.

I used to have a set of Baer brakes and the slots were the other way. Each manufacturer has their own way of setting them up.

you want the internal slots to allow air to come in to the center of the rotor and push the air out. The slots inside you be angled in the opposite direction of the spin direction.

It pays to remember that the DBA discs DON'T have internal slots / vanes.

They use their patented 'Kangaroo Paw' design for internal ventilation... this doesn't work in the same way tha ttraditional cooling vanes do...

If those are Brembo then they are backwards. It shows them to go the other way in the directions.

yes, it's more important that the rotor vanes are working properly than to worry about the slots in the rotors. Lots of good info. in this thread about it.
