After a few days living with them...

They aren't nearly as sticky (no big surprise). Not sure how much is in my head (no confidence) and how much is real. I know the ADVANS are off the scale for handling so the Sumi's are pretty good for an all-season/winter tire.

I didn't realize until I turned down the music (my CD changer went in the same day as the tires) how quiet they are compared to the ADVANS.

They look fine with an aggressive enough tread pattern to still make the tires look race-y.

All in all, especially with the LOW price I'm very happy with them. I can run them now through spring, get good winter traction, save my ADVANS for when I can have fun, get through inspection this year AND hopefully next year without buying new tires.

Only time will tell but so far I like them.

I'm using the stock rims for now. I may move the ADVANS to a new rim in the Spring and leave the HTR's on the stock rims for winter.

I had Avid T4's on my GSX. OK in snow but the tread life was pretty bad for me. Not sure how clos ethey are to the AVS
