Will 2008 OEM Bilsteins fit on a 2005?

I know that all the Evo8 and Evo9 suspensions are interchangeable. Right now I need replacement Bilsteins for my 2005 Evo 8 MR that originally came with Bilsteins.

I have a lead on a set of Bilsteins off a 2008 Evo X. Will they fit? Any help or leads to cross referencing part numbers would be awesome. Thanks!

Pictures attached are off a 2008 Evo X that I hope will fit on my 2005 Evo 8.

Rear shocks are completely different between evo 8-9 and evo X, however the fronts "look" like they might fit, but I don't know for sure...
SmikeEvo, do you know if the fronts fit or not?

OP: what happened to your bilsteins? can't you send them to be rebuilt?

Different chassis, mounting points / lengths are different.

That I do not know. Just need to measure bolt CL to bolt CL to see if the spacing on the top perch is right. And center diameter of the tower hole.

I am mainly interested in the fronts. I want to get a used set onto my 2005 to get the car back on the road and then send my originals out for rebuilding.

I understand the Evo 8 and Evo 10 have different chassis, understood. If the mounting points / lengths are different then it's a no go. SmikeEvo has contributed a ton to the forums so I have no reason not to believe him and thank you for the quick reply.

Here is what i was able to dig up so far:

Mitsu Part # for 2005 Bilsteins:
Front Struts - MN101890
Rear Struts - MN101899

Mitsu Part # for 2008 Bilsteins:
Front Struts - 4060A179
Rear Struts - 4162A099

Bilstein part # for 2005:
Front Struts - F4-VE3-A900-TO
Rear Struts - F4-BE5-A436-TO

Bilstein part # for 2008:
Front Struts - Need
Rear Struts - Need

Thanks everyone, consider this a closed case then. If anyone has the Bilstein part # for the 2008 Bilsteins please post them so we can complete the chart for others.
