Squeeling sound after rotor change

Changed my rotors out, they are now rotorpros. Bt whenever i turn left, whether lane change or turning, i hear it squeeling, no brakes aplied. Only to the left, not the right. Sounds more from the front left tire too. Did i do something wrong? What can cause it? Is it normal during break in?

Take the wheel off and see if something is rubbing or doesn't look right.

Were the pads wearing evenly, or were they badly tapered?

Could be your backing plate rubbing on the rotor. Could be pad shims rubbing on the rotor. You need to get the car in the air and pinpoint the noise. Duplicate it by turning and spinning the wheel with the car in the air.

Yeah, no issues changing both pads and rotors.

Could be backing plate or taper or not enough lube (TWSS)

I think any time you change the rotors, throw new pads in there. that way everything is new and nice. If i bit more lube dont work try and give them a rinse at the car wash. New pads and rotors will more than likely give you a small amount of noise at first. good luck!

Brake dust shield? It might have been. I took the wheel off the front right, the one making metal to metal noise when turning, and pulled the shield away a little bit. Put on a lil more lube, test drive this morning. I hope its not my master cylinder causing lack of pressure.

The opposite of that is true lol, you SHOULD replace pads when you resurface/replace rotors. What kind of squeal is it? High/low pitched? Does it make a grinding noise at all? How is the pad life on the pads currently?
