brakes squealing/squeaking

In february i got new slotted rotors and pads on my evo ix. I didnt really drive the car till about july, it was driven every so often, not ignored completely. but when i come to a stop, i get a extremely annoying and high pitched squeak/squeal, i have pulled my wheels and cleaned the outside face of the rotor with brake clean and wiped it clear of debri. That worked for a few minutes, then it was back to the horrific squealing. i can put pictures up, there is no ridges yet on the rotor, what could be the cause? I didnt clean the back side because the caliper and brake shield was on..

Could be that the brakes weren't bedded properly?

What brand of brake pads are they? Certain pads are notorious for squealing on our cars...

What the others have said & this:

Are the stock Brembo angled shims in-place, front & rear. They do a lot IMO to prevent squealing on non track type pads

Well I found my original quote, but I want to say that he changed one of the pads on me last minute.. The quote is for Powerslot Slotted rotors all around, Performance Friction Metallic Z Brake Pads Front, and Hawk HPS rear pads.

If you pull the wheels, you can see them using a flash light & inspecting the top of the caliper & pads

Unfortunately sometimes these brakes just squeel all the time - had an issue with it myself. The stock brembos and pads were horrible, upgraded to DBA 5000's on the front with hawk pads, helped a bunch but not completely.
