Evo 9 Brakes!

YES I've done my research and I still couldn't find an answer. What brake pads/rotors should I get for DAILY driving. Car will never even hit 400hp. I have R1 Concepts drilled and slotted rotors right now and Jesus Christ every morning or any time my car sits for more than like 30 minutes it SQUEALS LOUD ASF !!!!!!! The most annoying sound in the damn entire universe. So what pads or rotors do you guys run for QUIET DAILY DRIVING !

1. magic pads are most quiet but are a little flat for bite
2. run the OEM shims
3. multi-purpose grease on both sides of the OEM shim
4. run plain rotors

I run Stoptech Street pads with Centric Premium Blank rotors. no squealing, light amount of dust. definitely dusty when compared to a corolla or something, but not horrible overall IMO. very easy to wash off

Dust wouldn't be a problem. My car is clean 5% of the time lmao. No squealing what's so ever even after a cold night early in the morning?

I run this setup in Missouri where seasonal temps can run from 120 to -10. If for some reason they aren't bedded properly, they make noise like any pad. Other then that, good to go.

I use Magic Pads for my winter setup. I don't remember hearing them squeal much if they ever have at all.

they might squeal the first stop or something if they're really cold or wet. I live in Washington and don't like squeaky brakes. The only time these squealed at me was when I didn't grease them up well enough.

Had stoptechs on my car for 80k miles or so throughout the years, no issues with them

Another vote for the Stop Tech street pads. Bed them in correctly and they won’t squeal.
