after track day, clunking is back with vengeance in the right rear. i tightened the endlinks but no difference there. pretty awful, i'll check if it's the strut tops but otherwise that seems to be the only noise coming from the suspension now

I don't know if you have, but it might be time to start looking into suspension bushings. Maybe too much play is causing things to get loose.

ordering the mcmaster carr set of endlinks

does the nylon lock washer need a washer behind it? pictures don't show it, i assume it should have one, aside from the cup shaped washer that i assume goes on the other side.

How are your coilover locking collars, they still tight?

Also hows the preload of the springs?

Jackstands for sure, you don't want the suspension loaded. You don't have to do all 4 corners, you can do one or two at a time, whatever is easier for you.

thats not the right way to do it... one of my friend had the same issue because he installed the endlinks on jackstands...you want all 4 corners to be loaded.. here a link https://www.evoxforums.com/forums/ar.../t-147402.html

Interesting. I've always done this on a lift without issues, but I did notice a recent clunk noise begin to appear on my IX. Anyone else have experience with this?

it was corner balanced, loosened and tightened.

i'm assembling the new custom endlinks now. pretty straightforward, but did you guys put a washer behind the lock nut (so that it's not just the nut to the bar? seems like you should but he didn't have one on his

the other hing is that the eyebolts seem too long - but the parts i ordered were what he listed, in the images he seems able to insert his all the way, but i've got about half an inch before they stop because they're too long
