Suspension Recomendation

Hey guys!
which coilovers did you recommend for street use? I was verifying the BC coilovers BR and Tein Flex Z.

Im not a fan of FA stuff really but for a cheaper setup I would 100% take them over BC or Tein.

I'd buy a lower-end set of Bilsteins or KWs before I bought anything from China/Taiwan.

Do any other companies make a reliable strut assembly besides Bilstein?I not even sure if you can find a replacement kyb. For those that are not interested in coilovers .

You're doing things the smart way to not get coilovers if you arent actually racing the car. Bilsteins are >> any cheaper coilover in terms of ride quality and reliability. I keep my old set of bilsteins/gtworks in the garage just in case I decide to start doing some winter driving even if it is unlikely at the cars current state.

Id just get whatever highest rate springs are still available and bilsteins unless I was really looking to race the car.

If you want shocks/struts your only options for the Evo are KYB and Bilstein. I'm not sure you can buy KYB anymore so Bilstein is the only option. I searched for Tokico and Koni and they don't make any for the Evo.

You are correct. The only option for struts are Bilstein. I was searching to change to coilovers due to the fact that the two front bilstein struts cost around $840 and the 4 BC coilovers $995. So, in my opinion it is worth the money to change from strut to coilover.

I havent had them long but i would highly recommend fortune auto 500 coilovers. Alot of people get the swift springs, but i didnt and the ride quality is amazing.

I have the Swift Mach Sport Springs on the stock Bilsteins. Ride is stiff, but performs very well. I have done a couple of track days and have no complaints about my setup for what it is.
