just got the 225 Azenis on. Love them so far, good feel, nice turn-in, we'll see how they hold up at the AX over the weekend.

I'm not really sure.. I'm pretty much set on the S-03 but I did find a tire that looks interesting.. about the same price as the s-03

Dunlop SP Sport 9090 N-O

I think they are an OEM tire for Audi

Remember: New full tread depth + mold release = a bit less responsive handling than what your used to. Any tire will do this, but they should tighten up in a couple hundred miles. More rotations in the first 10K miles of a tires life is always best.

Too bad the EVO doesn't come with a 'burnout' mode to help scrub in new tires.

Later,

jcnel.

I know exactly what you're talking about.. I had put a set of Toyo's on my celica.. took out of there pretty quick around a turn and spun out.. didn't hurt anyone/thing but it did scared the **** out of me.

Also I'm editing my first post to include all the tires we've talked about in this thread... It makes it much easier for someone searching to decide whether or not they want to read the entire thread

Two big ones up for the 225 Azenis. Only had ~70 miles on them before the AX on Saturday and they were awesome. Very predictable and progressive when breaking away at the limit. Much quieter on the highway than the A046. We'll see how well they hold up, which should be quick since I put about 2,500 miles a month on my car.

I'm beyond satified with them, I originally just wanted something cheaper that did not lose the steering feel, and right now I feel the car right there with handling and turn-in, the noise has decreased, and they're dirty stinkin' cheap!

Does anybody know if the Advan AD07 Neova's are coming here? I've heard that the Lotus Elise will use them as stock tires. I hope when they start selling replacement tires for the Elise they'll bring over more sizes.

Did you hear anything about this Neal? If you're going to carry the Neova's for the Elise, can you get them in larger 18in sizes?

We only have the Lotus sizes at this point. It will probably be introduced/produced as a specialty tire like the EVO's Advan is. If that happens, I wouldn't expect any larger sizes for some time. Only time will tell though.
