Who makes the lightest wheels?

I think these are the sickest looking rims on the Evo. Quick question, I plan on getting 18 inch Volk Racing rims but whats the biggest size I can get without them rubbing? Are these rims considered pretty light compared to other name brand rims? What do you think of these rims?

I do not think rays makes a bad wheel- any of their offerings are top quality. They pretty much all look good and are all functional.

Volk wheels are very functional and very light. As opposed to other brands, they are top quality (probably why so many tuners use them on their cars). 18's would be fine and there would be no rubbing whatsoever. 19's might be ok but im not sure. The RoJa Formula 1 wheels on the Pepsi evo were 19's so its possible to fit them. Ill try and find out and get back to you

Check this website out. It's pretty organized and has a lot of info on different wheels.

http://www.wheelspecs.com/specs/

The two wheels on the top of my wishlist are the Volk TE37s and the SSR Type-C's. The style of these wheels never seem to get played out over the years.

I just put 18x9 35mm offset volk ce28n on my car with 255/35-18 michelin pilot sport2s. no rubbing and almost a perfect flush fit. i did not weigh the wheels seperately but with tires they weighed in at 41. my stock half worn wheels & tires were 44. i will take some pics this weekend.

i have te37s they are fairly light. do not forget to factor tires in. you can get like a 17 lb wheel but get heavy *** tires, and waste a lot of money and add a lot of weight. if your car is lowered you may rub, I do when I take corners...

I have 18 X 8.5 bronze CE-28's. I think they are the lightest wheel Volk makes besides the TE-37.

I had rubbing issues with 245/40's on my wheels. That was before it was even lowered. It didn't rub up top, it rubbed when I took a sharp turn to where the sterring wheel was almost to the lock position. I got 235/40's now.

A good wheel weight site is www.wheelweights.net. You can look up wheels alphabetically, by size, or by weight. Everything's in pdf format though.
