My IveyTune Experience Part II - FP Red Content
Maybe I missed it, but is this ecu-controlled boost or via mbc/ebc? I see that you're getting the HKS Variable BC in the next round but wanted to know about current set up.
Also, did you keep the stock 02/downpipe/cat because of noise concerns? Just curious.

Currently it's the stock ecu/bcs controlled boost. HKS VBC in next round of mods.
Kept stock o2/downpipe/cat just to see if it performed as well as advertised. Stock turbo yes, big turbo no.
Now we move on to stage 3 of the build and see how it progresses

The FP RED likes lots of BOOST, with METH, RACE GAS, or E-85!!! Pump gas, low boost tuning is NOT where the Red really shines. If you're gonna run pump gas, I suggest that you at least vent the turbine wastegate gases to the atmosphere or go all out external wastegate. The results are out there.
Just wanna through in here that my car is at ivey now getting a red, aquamist, exedy twin and other minor parts put in. Car made 345whp with bolt ons so soon we'll have a good idea of what a full bolt on X with a red/aquamist can do. Should be done sometime next week. And im guessing it's gonna be around 30psi.
