Very similar to how my car will be plus MX1's, Full Race mani, and ported stock intake mani. I was thinking 450 so that should be pretty much in the ballpark.

Excellent.

I'm going to be doing that on the 1000's for E85. We really need 1200-1300 injectors.

The only issue with that will be your idle... it will be a pita to get the correct latencies to get idle undercontrol and not have very negative idle ltft's.

1200cc drop-ins would be great but I guess if you want E85 goodness you have to sacrifice some plug and play. I think the Fuel Injector Clinic BlueMAX 1250-1650cc Injectors look like the next best bet although I want to confirm exactly what is needed to make them work 100% with the Evo X.

Would RC ENG 1200cc work?

Guys,

This is my car and I have to say it feels really good. On the freeway in 4th or 5th, boost builds strong in the 31-3300 range. I really didn't notice a difference in spool when I switched from the stock turbo.

I was impressed with the torque spike when I went from the 91 to E85 tune on the stock turbo but the power fell off sharply after 5500 and it was a little disappointing. Now the car pulls very strong and smoothly throughout the RPM range.

I agree with the comments about the cat and cams. I would probably need to do something with the injectors/FPR in order to add any more mods but I would love to try cams and/or a test pipe (resonated). The car is my daily driver so I don't want to impact the noise/drivability any more than I have. Right now it's very streetable and quiet. The engine compartment looks very OEM. I even made a flat black cover to replace the AEM intake "logo" cover.

I have 91 in the car now and after running through a tank we plan to get some dyno numbers on 91 for you.

The guys at GST, CBRD and Blaqops have been extremely helpful with this build. I had hip surgery in the middle of things so the results were a little delayed.

I would keep the cat, and get cams. Going to a test pipe will make the car louder, and I'm a greenie at heart.

Super Jealous! Glad to see that your car is making some serious power now! You'll have to give me a ride in that beast!

MAP sells them with pigtails or optional adapters for another $50. I'm going to ask my tuner what he thinks. My quick math suggests that 1350's would be adequate. This will be my THIRD set, though, so I'm inclined to go a little big than a little small (again).

Frankly I have mixed emotions. This is only ONE car (and I cannot wait to see more results) but CBRD mentioned gaining torque, not loosing it like the FP Red vs the stock turbo. The power is definitely there though, this is a wicked turbo, perfect for a stock-appearing setup. 450whp on this dyno with cams and no cat should be cake on E85.

I wonder how much boost this thing will actually hold up top, 30+psi would make a more power for sure, but seeing this done on 28psi is just awesome. Speaking of 28psi, nice boost profile bryan, VERY nice!
