Its never going to happen. The stock style turbo upgrades utilize a tiny exhaust housing.

Don't be so sure. It could happen, it will be on a built motor, maybe stroker but it will happen.

Honestly I think e85/cams on this thing will have no problems getting into the 500whp+ area. I will let you guys know when i get taxes back, lol.

On what dyno? Don't forget this dyno reads quite low compared to your average dynojet!

I think the real question at this point is whether or not the BB-X is any better than the Dom. I'm hoping that GST will do an overly of BB-X/Red/Dom on the same chart at some point...perhaps when Bryan has another example or two.
I'm referring to the relationship of hp to tq on this turbo, not comparing to others.

419 whp / 326 wtq, that's nearly a 100 spread

Yes I see this on pretty much all the Evo 10's with larger than stock turbos and stock cams with bigger boost. Might be because of the way the 4B11 is with stock cams and rod ratio, etc

I also am a bit more mild in the peak torque area on Evo 10 E85 tunes as my customers like their rods and pistons to stay in factory configuration.

Examples:

2008 Evo 10 GSR, Dom 2.0, Stock cams, E85, 29psi:

2008 Evo 10 MR, Dom 2.0, stock cams, 91 oct, 24psi:

2008 Evo 10 MR, Dom 2.0, stock cams, 91 oct, 24.5psi:

2008 Evo 10 MR, Dom 2.0, Kelford Cams, 91 oct, 24psi:

2008 Evo 10 GSR, FPred, stock cams, 91, 24.5psi:

2008 Evo 10 GSR, GT3076, stock cams, 91 and 110 oct, 24 and 29 psi:

Sorry.. I guess running higher boost and the way TQ drops off... Just my untrained eye observation. I guess I can see the difference between 91 and E85.

Yes the 91 tunes show how the torque drops off right after peak torque and the E85 higher boost tunes show how the torque is sustained for much longer. Remember horsepower is a equation off torque.

I have yet to see a "factory defective" piston losing a chunk of itself or a vented block on a 4B11 and I have tuned Evo 10's that have been used on track, circuit and street since they where introduced here (knock on wood) and, as far as I know, the first person to tune a Evo 10 on E85 in the United States.

Bryans got the SST Down (I DD my car and love it)! Love my shifts, crisp and responsive. Just got to get rid of the HFC, and hope to add a few more WHP & TQ (not expecting much).
