Ive yet to have a 10 make awesome torque...

That's what I was searching for in my quest for our evo X turbo, and I tried and tried... I still have a X turbo sitting here with a Titanium turbine/shaft etc... but it wasnt fantastic...

the 3076R from garrett was not good at all, decent PEAK power but lost like 30 wtq from stock and spooled 1200 rpm later with the .94 hotside.. we then dropped to the .7X hotside and it surged more than anything ive ever experienced....

I then tried to get a combination with minimal spool loss 400-750 rpm.... and would keep torque close to the stock turbo (with the boost cranked up) and still pick up 40-80whp up top on pump gas.

I am pretty sure we will see some good torque monster cars from this turbo once people start boosting 32ish+ on e85/race.

I think with catless cars, good cams and mivec mapping, with all the trimmings it will do what people expect

If mid-size plug-and-play injectors were offered then I'd agree with you but those of us on E85 are in a bit of a pickle...it's either an fpr or $900 injectors.

iam on e85, we dont need afpr or fuel rail what so ever, just two fuel pump and 1200cc and up . And stock fuel lines too.

My point exactly. Nobody makes a plug-and-play injector that is 1200cc. You have to jump from DW1000's all the way to the ID2000's.

I'm not going to be the first guy to install the FIC 1250 w/adapters and see if they tune and idle okay. I haven't seen any dyno charts posted yet that use them.

We are talking Evo X's here not your 8. No one wants to put in ****ty low impedance injectors that aren't really made for the X. We prefer the sweet drop in ones that are guaranteed to work well on the X and are high impedance. The only ones out are either DW1000's which almost everyone runs or ID2000's. Well there are some big TIAG and FIC ones too but those are all above 2000cc anyways too.

I'm personally going to go that way, I was just trying to explain why someone might want to overdrive the DW1000's using a $200 fpr setup rather than spend $900 on a set of injectors.

Cleaned.
Injector stuff OK, but OT junk edited.
Please keep other vendor graphs out of OP's results thread.

because we were having a discussion about tq on the X and this particular turbo. I was merely sharing data to see if the spread between hp and tq were similar with other larger turbos vs stock. Sorry if I stepped on your toes.

Please start your own thread. We can keep things streamlined a lot better that way.

Low torque + High WHP numbers, this might be perfect for the SST.
If the BBK BIG can now do something like 400wtq and 550whp-600whp that would be out of class!
