I was just posting my results. No other reason than to display my current results and have a discussion where I could learn some things. And to have a record of the journey my car will take over the years I'll have it.

stock head is definitely not the issue here. I ran a BBX lite (much smaller turbo) with stock head and cams and made 450 on pump and 500 on ethanol. on a 7670 (65 flow i think) I'm making 550 on 93 octane with cams and no porting.

I'm defining stock head as untouched (no aftermarket cams, valves, springs, etc.). If I were to cam the engine I would easily match your 450 horse being that it is only 40hp more than what I currently am at. I am interested in a smaller turbo for my car because currently full spool is about 3800 rpm. Using a smaller turbo when paired with a modified head I will still get good numbers and improved drivability I would think.
