WHITE gauge wire > RED radio harness wire (ignition)

ORANGE gauge wire > ORANGE radio harness wire (illumination)

...can someone please confirm that this is correct? Thanks in advance!
My radio harness does not have an orange wire, so what am I supposed to splice the orange gauge wire into?

Ok, I figured out the wiring dilemma, sort of. Even with everything connected to the letter, the gauge does absolutely NOTHING. The wires that you have to splice into other wires are so thin and could have been at least a few inches longer (I know, thats what she said). I have them spliced into the radio harness (and the radio works just fine), but the gauge won't even flinch. Either the gauge or the pressure sending unit (or both) are duds. I just love paying extra $ for a quicker mode of shipping only to get a sh*tty part that doesn't work.

Have you tried checking the grounds? Is this still a problem...

I think I'm going with these. by any chance do you know if these have NPT to compression (Swagelok) fittings or are they something weird like British Standard Pipe.

Alright, I fixed the wiring problem: I just wired them into the turbo timer harness ( the gauge will go off or won't come on if the turbo timer isn't on). Now, the car only boosts to 10psi, per the gauge. Its off to hunt down the boost leak, or possibly get another gauge.

Problem: plain vac. hoses to and from turbo/wastegate to solenoid
Solution: bought stock lines from dealer, and now back to stock boost

I'm now a happy camper.

I bought a premium elec boost gauge and it broke after 2 months. The needle stays stuck at max vacuum after it goes through the opening ceremony. I called prosport, and they were very friendly and courteous as far as customer service goes. They told me that they have had lots of defective sending units, but very minimal gauge defects. So I mailed in my sending unit for repair/replacement. There is a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Just wanted to provide input. Despite this, I really do like the gauge, the color scheme fits well w/ evo's, the price is right and its very accurate (im comparing it to my greddy profec ebc, which someone in here tested to be very accurate with calibrated equipment)
