Programming FastKey

Has anyone figured out how to re-program the fast key system so that all 4 doors unlock when you grab the drivers door handle? I don't have the Nav so I can program it that way but I heard there's a way to do it with the remote/key fob.

Read the manual, ha. It's so much easier with the navi.

You can change this setting in the nav setup options. Along with your blinker rate, wiper speed, etc.

He has to do it the hard way since he doesn't have NAV.

I was having problems getting the programming to register properly following the instructions in the manual as well, but I finally managed to get it to work.

Heres what I did. In the manual, it says to hold the lock button and within 10 seconds, to press the unlock.. then release within 4 seconds.. right? DID NOT WORK..... so this is what i did....

I pressed BOTH the lock AND unlock buttons on the remote together... held them both down and within 10 seconds, I released the unlock button (while still holding the lock button), re-pressed the unlock button... then released BOTH.

Try it. That should do the trick.

Did you do this after you adjusted all of the settings in the nav menu?

You wouldn't have to do all that if you had the Nav

You must of gotten lucky with your sequencing. I ended up getting it to work just like the manual says. I didn't hear any "Chimes" though like it says in the manual - one chime = driver's door only / 2 chimes = all 4 doors. Did you hear chimes when it re-programmed?

Nav ftw.

I had looked through all of the things you can do through the nav and it is pretty impressive.

Factoring all of this in makes the NAV worth it.

Sorry for bringing up such an older thread, but I'm at work trying to figure this out and I don't have my manual on me(at home).
Do I need to be outside the car, inside the car, ignition in a certain position? I tried what was written above but it didn't work.
Trying to get all 4 doors to unlock.
