Can you update the data in the Evo X nav system?

Can I download new map/POI data for the nav system? If so, how and from where? Is the system compatible with 3rd party GPS (Garmin, etc)?

Thanks

What SW and MAP version are the X's running? There is an update disc from Mitsu but it is $120. It updates the SW to "C" and the MAP to 2006-*.

I haven't bought anything yet, just trying to evaluate the pros/cons of getting the navigation option. If I can't update it with new data (ie, if it will think I'm driving in 2007 forevermore), then it becomes much less desirable.

Has anyone figured out how to disable the video in motion? Like lexus, bmw, GM, have different options in doing so. Does anyone have a mitsubishi Nav method?

Thanks

Any mitsu dealer can get it for you and don't pay more than 111.50 that is list on the part. I work at a mitsu dealership.
