When you swap the deck do the stock aux out jacks for the ipod not work? or do you just have to run a new ipod cord form the new deck to the stock outputs?
hmm good question. i think that would depend on if your new deck supported an aux jack. in my opinion i would rather not use an aux port, cuz you would have to control your ipod from the ipod itself. since these navi decks offer full control through the touch screen i think thats a way better way to control the ipod. i used to have some cheapo aiwa deck with an aux port and i am constantly shuffling through music and looking down at the ipod probly wasnt the smartest thing to do safety wise. in my navi setups i just run the ipod specific cable from the back of the deck to the glove box or something and just keep my ipod in there, i like the stealth setup like that. and that way you have an on screen display of what is shown on your ipod like track title and all that craziness. i would imagine there would be a way to use your stock aux port on your new deck but it would be more trouble than it was worth... i hope that answered your question, i kinda rambled and confused myself but you should get the gist of what i was saying... keep me updated and cant wait to see how your install goes...

you getting the scosche install kit to mount that navi in?

I just installed the Pioneer AVIC-F90BT 2 weeks ago. The responsiveness of the touchscreen needs to be improved. One thing that annoys me is that you cannot display heading up in 2d map mode, only north up is available. Other than that, I'm pretty satisfied.
