Speed sensitive auto volume - not working?

For everyone that has the Rockford system, we all have a speed sensitive automatic volume adjustment function. I have the Navi with the Rockford system

My doesn't seem to work. If I go into the settings and turn it off/on, the sound remains the same. The volume never increases/decreases when accelerating/decelerating.

I've had an Audi and VW with the same function. My wife has had an RX-8 and Infiniti G37 with the Bose stereo with the same function. In any of these cars the function worked great and you could notice the volume increasing/decreasing.

Anyone else notice that their speed sensitive auto volume isn't working?

Or, does anyone have one that works and you can tell when it is working?

Just wondering if I need to take it into the dealership to get looked at.

Thanks guys

Do you have an exhaust. Sometimes these systems use in cabin noise to determine sound, that s just a guess.

Not working either, with the stock system. Asked dealer about it and they don't have a clue.

If yours isn't working consider yourself lucky as it ruins the Fosgate system for me. Driving around the city it's annoying to have the volume go up and down for no apparent reason at times.

I've tried it on and off and it doesn't do anything. I believe the manual says it only adjust eq settings or something. I just leave it off, no big whoop.

I was wondering if Lancer guys were having the same issue since you guys get the same sound system.

I'm pretty much at the point you are. Just turn it off and not worry about it. I'd like to take it into the dealership, but as someone already mentioned in this thread, the dealership probably won't have a clue what to do with it.

Mine doesn't work either, I noticed this on day 1. Interesting to hear a bunch of others have the same problem, I just figured I was using it wrong or something.
