No bass!!

NON SSS evo gsr...with 13000 miles on it.....my front left speaker has lost its bass.....is this a common problem and is it covered under warranty?

Could be a loose connection at speaker behind door or its just shot.

Is it just the bass? Or is there no sound at all? If it's the former, then you probably blew the voicecoil and will need a new speaker. If it's the latter, it could be a loose connection as mentioned above my post.

I'm not sure if the dealer would cover a blown speaker or not. Couldn't hurt to ask.

I guess you could always go buy new front door speakers

I blew the two back stock speakers on my non-sss. They said they would replace them under warranty but I ended up buying a whole custom stereo instead.
