Advice on purchasing items for new headunit install..HELP

Ok, im replacing the stock Fosgate head unit with a new Pioneer AVIC-X920BT system thats coming out in March. I have an 08 GSR X.(no factory bluetooth or nav) Im not changing any speakers and the install will be done by a tech. I want to know what else should i buy now so that i have everything ready to go when the tech does the installation. Ive been checking the forums and ive noticed that i might need to buy a harness for the new head unit to work, and a dash kit. Can you all please list the items i should buy...thanks for any help. Im trying to avoid purchasing extra things that i wont need and get the best dash kit available. Also if you all have links please post.

MITO-02 ($110 from Amazon)
Dash kit (avoid Metra for this)
I don't think your car would have come with steering wheel controls for the radio, so no need for the PAC SWI-PS)

that should do it...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIN_75490

I managed to find a good deal on the JDM dash piece (about $240 from JapanParts), so that's what I'm running. Before that I had the Scoche dash kit, which was OK. (If you decide to go that route, hit me up- I have the one I was using I'll let go.) There's one other I've seen people mention that was good, but I can't recall off the top of my head who made it.

DIN is a standard measurement for the size of a head unit (or in this case, the size of the opening in the dash kit).

Single DIN is for most standard head units:

Double DIN is for video screens/navi systems:

EDIT: Ah, mrMTB beat me to it.

Is there a part comparable to the PAC SWI-PS, that allows you to retain use of BOTH the factory radio & bluetooth steering wheel controls on the 2010 Mitsu's? Or any other similar solution??

ETA: Nevermind.. if I'm reading the SWI-PS manual correctly, it allows for hands-free button programming..

1. Volume Up
2. Volume Down
3. Mute
4. Track Up/Seek Up
5. Track Down/Seek Down
6. Source
7. Preset Up/Disc Up
8. Preset Down/Disc Down
9. Band
10. Phone Status
11. Answer Call
12. End Call

Guess 10, 11 & 12 would work for that.. I think.

That's correct, AFD, with the PS (I don't know about the JACK version) you can use the bluetooth controls as well. Works like a champ on my Z110.
