Radar detector in the middle rear head rest?

What's everyone's opinion about installing a radar detector in the middle head rest? The detector would be mounted behind the fabric and only visible Item would be the cord running down the silver posts.

If done right it could be cool, but I would worry that the signal could be easily blocked or have the strength reduced.

I have my V1 mounted on the back window using a modified mounting bracket. The concealed display is on top of the mirror.
The only thing that you will lose is frontal laser detection which is useless anyway.
Behind tinted windows, thieves can't see it and most of the time cops don't notice it.

Do you like having the stealth kit/ is it as easy to see/hear as having the radar infront of you

I mounted my V1 in the back of the up in the roof liner. It's totally hidden and it still works just as well. No cutting needed. No wires can be seen. Laser detection isn't exactly why I bought the V1 anyway. Once it goes off it's already too late.
