iPhone 4 Integration Help

I have the SSS model with the two RCA's hookups. I'm looking for a solution so I can listen to music from my iPhone, use the phone through speakers and charge it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this http://www.amazon.com/Monster-Cable-.../dp/B000068IH5 or this http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Stereo-.../dp/B000T4JARQ will allow me to listen to music and use my phone through the factory speakers. Then I would just need a car charger.

If anyone has a better solution or if I'm totally wrong please let me know. I did search and found a lot of iPod stuff and some iPhone 3 but I'm not sure if that applies here.

Either of those cables will work for audio. I went with the Griffin cable because I have the Iphone 4 with a bumper and the connector fits nicely.

For music, I switch to AUX mode to listen to music through the iphone. For phone calls, I have my iphone paired up to the factory bluetooth. And then a car charger for the power.

Thanks for the reply but I don't have the Navigation I should have mentioned that. I'm thinking I can still use the AUX button to hear the phone through the speakers.

I went down to walmart and got exactly the same thing as the two cables in your OP, but for like $2.78 or something. I think it was Phillips branded. It works great for me, just not quite as snazzy looking

Any standard RCA to stereo-mini cable will work. You don't need anything that's apple specific.

I agree it doesn't need to be Apple specific but from past experience I prefer higher quality cables for sound quality.

If you're connecting through the i-Phone unique connector (at the bottom), and not the mini stereo jack, you don't need to purchase any "fancy" cable. The unique connector is a data connector, like a USB cord- it doesn't transmit a DC audio signal where you need to be concerned with signal loss, etc.

FYI, I've used several cables(including Apple brand) that split RCA audio out and USB power. They've all caused feedback/noise when playing music from the i-Phone when the USB power is connected.
For best results, I would recommend only connecting the USB power (to the cigarette lighter adapter) when you aren't listening to the i-Phone.

monoprice has a selection of very cheaply priced cables that can be had with or without the USB power.

Definitely high quality. And something that would work with the Apple iPhone 4 bumper, is nice too.

I'm just going to install a bluetooth device in the car that will allow me to stream from the phone wirelessly.
