Need serious help with MITO-02

i just installed my MITO-02 and it came on perfectly the first time I started it up. Now after I turned the car off and back on the unit will no longer come on unless I unplug the harness at the vehicle end and plug it back in.

I have the amplifier turn on hooked to my car pc amp turn on delay.

Can I just hook the MITO's amp turn on the a 12v IGN wire to just come on with the vehicle? I don't think the signal is reliable from the carpc PSU. It's supposed to have an "anti-thump" delay of 5 seconds on the PSU, but it never comes on unless i unplug and reattach.

I just want to know if the 12v IGN will kill the MITO or not.

Thanks
Drew

Got an email from metra and the 12v acc to the amp on won't hurt it.

Here is a little more troubleshooting, There is 12v Constannt coming out of the MITO, when I turn the car on the amp doesn't start and there is no 12v IGN coming out of the MITO.

There is a LoJack module and an HD radio module hooked up to the 12v Constant and the ground coming out of the MITO.

The HD radio module is also connected to the 12v IGN coming out of the MITO.

The amp and the HDRadio turned on before the Lojack tapped into the 12v Constant coming out of the MITO.

The HD Radio is grounded through the MITO ground out and the Lojack is grounded to the tubular metal bar behind the radio.

More Troubleshooting

Unplugged the HD Radio module and unhooked the Lojack power. Still no beans.

My MITO-02 sometimes wont turn on either unless I unplug it. Did you get another new MITO-02 and it works perfectly?

Mine wouldn't turn on at all without unplugging it first. The second unit I got worked great until I turned up the potentiometers all the way up. Where are yours set at right now on the MITO?

To anyone that have issues with the MITO-02 (stereo not turning back on after turning off the car...sometimes), the issue is the gain control on the MITO-02 unit itself. If the settings are set to some specific level, the MITO-02 prevents your aftermarket stereo to turn on after you turn your car on. I drove my car with the MITO-02 explosed until my stereo didnt turn back on after I restarted the car, then I messed with the gain controls on the MITO-02 unit the stereo turns back on. After I found the perfect setting, I tapped the gain controls on the MITO-02 and I never had this problem again.

This is a serious issue with the MITO-02 quality control
