The factory nav if added at your dealership will work 100% correct. I did that with my Evo X. The one they had on the lot didn't have the nav - so I bought the nav and had them install it. It works perfectly. You're fine.

Yea this is pretty common. My GSR originally came with the Nav and the dealer took it out for me since I didn't want it. Ended up losing my FUSE which I didn't care about. I would double check to make sure you'll keep if before hand if it matters to you.

I hope that price is with the nav, my dealer wanted $2,500 for the factory nav unit.

I had also got navi installed by dealer on 2010 MR. the issue was that only the factory install comes with aux video IN. dealer installed did not have aux video in, just aux audio in.

If you look on Mitsubishiparts.net (LINK), they sell the 3-RCA port w/video for around $35.

Though, for the price you have to pay for a dealer-installed navi system, they really should've included and installed the left/right/vid RCA port.. might wanna go back and ask them about it.

Yup I know about that part, apparently according to the dealer (made me wait for 2 hours while he clarified this on the phone), that 3RCA port is installed at the factory with the nav, not by the dealer. I didnt really care, dont plan to watch any videos on the screen anyway.
